As founder of ZYDWorx and a 2020 graduate from Regent University with a Master’s Degree in Public Administration I have vast experience rooted in advocacy, and service to others. A 9-year veteran of our United States Coast Guard, where I served men and women as a Health Services Technician. Then returning to civilian life to serve children and adults with a degree in Occupational Therapy.  I served as a board member for Volunteer and Community Outreach for Hampton Grows a 501-c-3 organization based in Hampton. Served as Chair of the Food Disparities Coalition for St Paul Community Development Corporation while planning and implementing a healthy food program called Food Pharmacy. My grant writing and strategic planning for Roanoke Valley Points of Diversity established a winning strategy for securing the  Virginia Humanities SHARP Grant. I have established networking and community connection for area nonprofits to support growth and connection with for-profit businesses.
